Since the boat is already sold to Sandy . . . here's the email I got from the seller about the history.

Seacraft gave the boat to Lake X the Mercury test lake to rig for racing. A Good friend of mine(Randy Rabe, Rabco Boat Mfg Co. bought it from Lake X and later sold it to Clark Coit in Jacksonville who later sold it to Bruce Franke. I bought it from Bruce's wife after he died and have had it ever since. It was a fully closed deck boat except for driving compartment. We had it gutted and a new stainless steel tank made by a tank maker and installed it(169 gallons) with a gauge wire and new hoses. All the interior sidewalls and floor are new materials professionally installed by The Yacht Doctors, St. Petersburg. This is where the boat is now. I was going to put a pair of Suzuki 250- 300 hp 4 stroke motors on a bracket, which I never bought. It has been sitting for over 3 years and I have no plans to finish. It is dirty and needs cleaning and waxing, but the hull, deck and floor are in good shape. The trailer has only been in the water twice,I let a friend borrow it to take his boat to a motor warranty appointment.
Thank you for your interest.

Thanks again all. I`m a little overwhelmed, overstimulated, and completely jazzzed.

First things first. The Citgo sign remains the property of GFS.

Tim, thanks for the info. Really appreciated! I hope to learn more of her travels and adventures. There will be tons of pics and lots of copy. Maybe a Gucci teak helm pod?
Bly??? Bly??? Bly??? My friend and detailer has a leash on initial clean up. I haven`t been this excited since I put that Briggs and Stratton motah on my homemade little wooden go cart as a child. I am sending Santa and his lunch money off today. Wish me luck.

Who has a 250 OP? Fresh water?

Huge WOW,
Bubbble Head

One question- Are you working on the two boat theory, or are you going to sell wide-open?
