Happy Birthday. Blue Heron!

Lorak 11-01-2013 10:05 AM

Blue_Heron

St Josephs Sound - anywhere south of Anclote to Honeymoon Island Causeway - east or West of Channel. East will put you in 2-4 depending on tide, west side will be deeper.

Boundaries would be inside of 3 Rooker bar on the west and the spoil islands on east of channel. Anywhere in there should produce pinfish, there are some sandy holes as well in amongst the flats on the east side if you hunt around you will find them.

If you have cast net, the wash on the inside North point of honeymoon where the drop of is can also produce but be careful as we also pulled in sting rays in the net as well last month.

Good luck !

Diana and I are coming over Sat afternoon my boat is not going to make the short trip or any trip this
Year. I blew out my back and had surgery to repair it in June, recovery has been good so wrestling a boat is not in the cards this year.

Yes Sir Dave, very nice meeting you and I'm in love with your Seavette, however not as much as GFS who still is sportin' a "woodie" after you took him on the 60 mph ride.

Not too many times do you see seven different models of SeaCrafts in one picture!!!

Good time and great gathering!!!!

I`m just mailing out new decoder rings.
Dixon, yours is going out next day mail. Thanks for the recon!

Great meeting all the new folks and Bill, thanks for hosting a great Friday invasion of your canal. Have you heard from your jealous neighbors?

Terry, Sharon was beaming all weekend, and rightfully so. As Bitsamonkey said, when you host a build thread, you leave your heart and mind open to ridicule. I didn`t see anything to ridicule.
You made many well considered choices and your craftsmanship is stellar. An amazing hull design. She did not seem to come up on plane in the traditional sense, but rather rose like a hovercraft with beautiful manners. For once, it is I who am lacking a decoder ring.

Thank you for the wheel time. She does indeed float like a magic carpet.

I have so many more thoughts. I will load pics and gather my thoughts.

A very special thanks to BlueHeron for your handiwork.

Cheers,
GFS

Great to meet everyone this weekend! Melissa and I had a fantastic time and I know it will not be our last...

Here are a few pics from the meet. The first one I call.... "21 foot my ass" As you can see, Terry's 21 towers over my 23 Tsunami!
