Updated - My 76 20 MA
Just cleaned it up last weekend getting ready for the SC Fest, these pic's were taken near Ft Desoto Park, S. St Pete. My camera has a setting it says is for the web, with a lower pixel count, would that work better when posting pic's instead of using a high resolution setting??

The only thing you need to change in terms of size from any large file is the dpi (for web 72 is the target dpi) and the overall dimensions, which are up to you. Most people have fairly decent sized screens nowadays but there are still a few that whine when anyone posts an image larger than wallet-size. You might also consider sharpening your images after the fact, they won't have that soft/fuzzy effect then. |
Re: Updated - My 76 20 MA
The setting is for picture size, it is set on largest 5.0 now, I think its losing some when it downsize's the file, am I on the right track? They look great on my puter, I think they resized when uploaded to the host website. I will reset it and try again this weekend.

Re: Updated - My 76 20 MA
Thanks put some toilet bowel cleaner, a little compound and some wax on it a couple weeks ago, can't pick Carl up in a dirty boat :D I love the T Top but it bolts to the console which is putting a little pressure on it but everything else is fine. Funny thing I was ready to come north to find one and this was 1 1/2 blocks from Susans house on the same street getting a water pump put in :D The motor a '94 200 XRi had never seen saltwater as the guy bought from Lake Ockeechobee, it had been sitting and wouldn't run hardly but the boys figured that out but with some $$.

Re: Updated - My 76 20 MA
Reset the camera from 5.0 to like 2.1 and the pictures still come out blurry on the name and the rub rail and boot stripe are wavey like above, saw no difference-any help??

Re: Updated - My 76 20 MA
ESD, try keeping the picture setting at the highest quality. Many cameras have a 'focal' point (small brackets) within your viewing area. Make sure that's ON your boat, by the name. Are you using the "auto focus" setting on your camera?
After loading the pictures into your computer, uploading to Photobucket, lets you resize as it uploads. Maybe that'll help ??? BTW, your boat does look great, clean & ready for a good time! |
Re: Updated - My 76 20 MA
Thanks, I am using all the auto stuff I'm getting close enough it should focus on the boat, I'll keep trying.
Can't pick Carl up in a dirty SeaCraft, come on |

You know more than I, and I'm sure good photog. guys do well, I can't get a good pic of my boat, so I'll keep doing mortgages. I guess you are :D

Re: Updated - My 76 20 MA
I just noticed on the front page of scrolling pic's they have the same problem with the rub rail and boot stripes looking squiggly. By the way I wonder how you get selected to have a pic in there ???? Finster Mr Mod maybe you stop in sometimes, not much trouble to Mod in here I know :D

Do we have to do anything special, like mow his yard or wash his car?? :D
|
Re: Updated - My 76 20 MA
And once he gets that pork-barrel state job, he'll be lurking even more. I can just see him now, feet up on the desk, Sears catalog in hand with CSC running on the computer. :D
