Default Updated - My 76 20 MA

Just cleaned it up last weekend getting ready for the SC Fest, these pic's were taken near Ft Desoto Park, S. St Pete. My camera has a setting it says is for the web, with a lower pixel count, would that work better when posting pic's instead of using a high resolution setting??

Always capture the best original file that you can....and then play with size and other aspects later. .....in my wee little opinion.

The only thing you need to change in terms of size from any large file is the dpi (for web 72 is the target dpi) and the overall dimensions, which are up to you. Most people have fairly decent sized screens nowadays but there are still a few that whine when anyone posts an image larger than wallet-size.

You might also consider sharpening your images after the fact, they won't have that soft/fuzzy effect then.

The setting is for picture size, it is set on largest 5.0 now, I think its losing some when it downsize's the file, am I on the right track? They look great on my puter, I think they resized when uploaded to the host website. I will reset it and try again this weekend.

Thanks put some toilet bowel cleaner, a little compound and some wax on it a couple weeks ago, can't pick Carl up in a dirty boat I love the T Top but it bolts to the console which is putting a little pressure on it but everything else is fine. Funny thing I was ready to come north to find one and this was 1 1/2 blocks from Susans house on the same street getting a water pump put in The motor a '94 200 XRi had never seen saltwater as the guy bought from Lake Ockeechobee, it had been sitting and wouldn't run hardly but the boys figured that out but with some $$.

70dpi is a little small. The best target size is 640X480. It will give aprox 100dpi.
