Vezo, Part II |
One of my favorite boats on the site. GLWS!
|
Good luck with sale! That doghouse has perfect lines, nicest I have seen by far.
|
What a battle wagon!! Nice!
GLWS |
Wow, I wish I had the $$$$ for this one. Absolutely beautiful.
Makes me want to hold onto my Sceptre for the long run and do a conversion later on down the line with brackets outboards on the back..... |
Thank you all for the nice comments. I hate to part with her but I'm ready for something a bit bigger. She'll make someone very happy.
|
Zendora,
Where in weymouth did you keep it? I'm up the Quincy River at Town River Marina. Surprised I never saw it on the water, I sure would have remembered seeing that SC on the water. |

John, I kept it at Marina Bay in Quincy last summer.
Here are a few more pics: Cuddy loaded up for a trip south of the Vineyard last summer. Kept the boat at Kingman in North Falmouth for annual vacation and ventured roughly 75nm from the dock, fished the dump out to the shipping lanes on a FAC day. Took a small BFT at the dump, several mahi off high fliers and released a white marlin. That is to say, this is a very very capable boat. |
Great pictures thanks for posting them.
I think I have my future project in mind once the Sceptre runs its course. Great layout and it looks like a fishing machine. |
Feenan-
Say it aint so! You put blood, sweat and tears into that boat. Looks fantastic. Regardless, I am sure she will find a new, appreciative owner. The big question is - what do you have your eyes on next? |
The wiring Oh the wiring, it is beautiful, how neat and organized it is.You have done a very impressive job.Such a beautful boat.
Good luck with the sale. |
Thanks all.
Ed it will def be tough to let go of her. As much as I love her, in a sick way I've loved working on her just as much. There's not much left for me to obsess over on this boat, so it's time for the next one. I'm ready to make an offer on a 28 Carolina Classic, just need to find the Seacraft a new home. |
Local South Shore (Hingham) guy here....just wanted to add on to the previous posts in that I have drooled over this boat through its restoration.... Had I stumbled onto this boat when I was in the market back in 2010, I would be all over it. Its a true show piece...and better still, a battle wagon. Knowing how much you put into it, I'm sad that you are letting her go but wish you the best in selling her.
Needless to say, someone is going to get an amazing boat. Best of luck in the sale and new ride. I will certainly be passing this along to anyone looking in the area. RC |
Boat is now uncovered in Weymouth MA for any potential buyers who want to take a look and make an offer.

Had a buyer lined up for a late July delivery, but he has to sell his boat first and he just let me know he lost his buyer, so my boat is back actively for sale.
Mike |
Still available, open to all reasonable offers. Just posted on CL, have eyes on next boat, ready to move.

Not many have a bag o cash in the closet. Hard to find financing. Still baffles me. There is an opportunity for far sighted bankers here. GLWS |
I have the same boat that was originally an inboard. A previous owner put a dive platform on the back with a kicker mount and converted it to an outboard. It's a great boat

FYI for financing needs, Sterling Associates and BoatUS have resources. Waiting.. Mike |
I too, can't believe this boat hasn't sold yet. For all the work that has gone into that boat, it's worth every penny being a 23' pocket battle wagon that can easily make trips out to the bank.
Unfortunately, the fleet is too big right now otherwise I'd be very serious about trying to make a deal with you. It's a true classic most SeaCraft lovers would kill to call their boat. Good luck with the sale. I know your looking to go bigger, but if you ever considered going to a Sceptre we could talk :D. |
Thanks John. Agreed, this boat has fished the bank regularly, as well as east of Chatham and south of the Vineyard as far as the shipping lanes. She's also great on the hook or at the sandbar with the fam where the cuddy and enclosed porta potti come in handy. She checks the Inshore, offshore, fam friendly boxes.

Had the pleasure of meeting Mike and seeing his boat. Great guy - very knowledgeable. The boat is a tank! Every upgrade Mike made was well thought out and well done. This is a nice boat that the next owner will be happy they bought it.
|
Thanks Kevin, good luck with your re-power.
|
Bump for a bad ass boat.
|
Thanks John. Boat is going in within the next week or so.
|
The ultimate "pocket battle wagon" done up top notch...assuming its sold at this point?

Price reduced to $30K.
Been waiting for the right opportunity and enjoying another great season with this boat despite relatively limited time on the water, due to 4 yr old and 4 month old at home. For next season, looking for more fishing hall passes from the wife and a lot more family boating, so it's time to move up into something that'll keep everyone happy! I've only posted here and THT, will be posting on the paid sites and various Cape Cod classifieds making the final push to sell to make room for a new boat for next season. Mike |
Still for sale...
- worst salesman ever |
Your ride is beautiful Zendora, anything comparable new would be 100k+ for sure. Definitelt left nut worthy! Good luck buddy.
