motor height and nameplate
I rebuilt the transom at 25" to match the motor and put the motor back in the old holes. It now occurs to me the motor might be a couple inches low. Any opinions? What motor heights have you used successfully?

Re: motor height and nameplate
I know the cavitation plate needs to be even or a little higher than the lowest part of the hull....It looks like its a little low to me!

Re: motor height and nameplate
The outer edges of your cavitation plate should be just slightly above the bottom of the hull in front of them, so that no part of the plate extends below the hull.

Re: motor height and nameplate
Looks like it needs to move up 3 holes. Each hole will move it up 3/4in.
