Filling screw holes in Seafari transom

There are about a dozen screw holes on my lower transom from old transducers and clips, etc., I want to fill them. I have epoxy and some talc thickener, 3M 4200 fast cure, and regular 3M 5200. Which if any should I use to fill the holes? Holes are about 3/4" deep size 10 or so. Should I drill them out before filling?
Thought I'd get some feedback before doing something stupid. Thanks -Gillie

talc I think is the stuff used in Bondo, and should not be used below the waterline. Epoxy with the correct filler is the best bet.
look here for some more info, http://www.jgreer.com/index.htm

Thanks for the heads up on the talc. I got epoxy from John Greer to fill a bunch of holes on the gunwales, dash and floor. Should I get some cabosil or can I use some 4200 or 5200 to fill said holes; or is there something else I should use?

make sure you drill them out a little to give the epoxy a better bond.

Drill them out a little. Grind back the gelcoat about half an inch around. Fill the holes with Duraglas. If below the waterline, cover the Duraglas with resin or epoxy. Sand smooth and recoat with gelcoat.
