High speed water pickup- placement /interference

I am finishing the rigging on my 21 wanting to solicit the experts on the placement of the thru -hull high speed water pickup for my baitwell. I am very limited, I can only place it on the most inboard set of panels. I am concerned that it could interfere with the water pump pick up/ inlets on the outboard, by possibly parting the water or aerating it causing the outboard to overheat. The outboard inlets are set back about 36" from the transom as the outboard is mounted on a bracket. On my last boat with a bracket, I had the transom mount transducer interfering with the water intakes and would get an overheat alarm because of this I also had some prop cavitation? as the transducer parted water and introduced air. Will this pickup interfere as the transducer did? :D

Gem products makes a sweet flush mount pick up. Only about 1/4" profile, unlike the usual bronze bulge.
Nice work on the 21.

The thru-hull needs to be spaced minimum 8 inches outboard of the hull centerline, and as far out on the bottom-most planing surface as possible. This should prevent excessive ventilation.

I lookd up the cost on that sweet thing, a "C note" plus! That is one nice OUCH.
