Question about clay for radius's in one off molds

strick or island trader or anyone else in the know - is there a special kind of clay you use to do the radii or will good old sculpting putty from the craft store do?

Thanks

To be honest I really do not know. I would think yes.

I used a product called Klean Klay. I got it from the fiberglass store.

The only thing they said is to use clay and never caulk.

Also for easy radius use something that is round...like a ball bearing on a handle.

Do not use anything with water in it. Use only non hardening clay..it is usually oil based. Make sure you put a couple good coats of PVA over your clay radius otherwise the glass will alligator. SuperSculpy is a good clay for small projects and it can be found in the craft stores... Composites one sells a commercial clay that works really well for larger projects.
