Yeah, I'm \"that guy\"
Yes I'm the one that bought that overpriced decal off Ebay..... :D
http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...raft/005-1.jpg I could have had one made for less than half price, buy you know how it goes..... Oh yeah, hatches have the base coats on them. Signature finish http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...raft/001-1.jpg |
Re: Yeah, I'm \"that guy\"
Your hatches look nice! How do you like working with that paint?

Re: Yeah, I'm \"that guy\"
Paint is looking good so far.....I AM having a problem with the dust in my shop. :( Weeks if sanding and such have dust everywhere it seems. The first coat I left the furnace fan on thinking it would help, but there were a lot of dust specks in the paint. It seems this coat is looking better with the fan off...... I think I need to do some cleaning before I tackle the deck.

Re: Yeah, I'm \"that guy\"
Some guys wet down the floor before they paint, saying that helps to keep the dust down.

Re: Yeah, I'm \"that guy\"
Before you paint after your prep is done, take a blow gun and hit the WHOLE shop with the door open. Then fire up a big fan and let it run for a while. Wet the floor down and keep the hose off your workpiece.
While you are painting run the fan facing out the door, and open a door or open at the opposite end of the room. I have been painting large busses and trucks this winter and this method works AWSOME. |
Re: Yeah, I'm \"that guy\"
Ill try blowing out the shop and wetting down the floor. Not sure 0 degrees or below most nights would do much for my attitude while painting though. :D :) :D
