Yes I'm the one that bought that overpriced decal off Ebay.....

I could have had one made for less than half price, buy you know how it goes.....

Oh yeah, hatches have the base coats on them. Signature finish

Paint is looking good so far.....I AM having a problem with the dust in my shop.

Weeks if sanding and such have dust everywhere it seems. The first coat I left the furnace fan on thinking it would help, but there were a lot of dust specks in the paint. It seems this coat is looking better with the fan off...... I think I need to do some cleaning before I tackle the deck.

Some guys wet down the floor before they paint, saying that helps to keep the dust down.

Before you paint after your prep is done, take a blow gun and hit the WHOLE shop with the door open. Then fire up a big fan and let it run for a while. Wet the floor down and keep the hose off your workpiece.

While you are painting run the fan facing out the door, and open a door or open at the opposite end of the room. I have been painting large busses and trucks this winter and this method works AWSOME.

Ill try blowing out the shop and wetting down the floor. Not sure 0 degrees or below most nights would do much for my attitude while painting though. [img]/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
