Hull side coring?

Going to replace the coring on the Dusky that was originally 1/4" fiberglass liner with something either like 3/8" balsa or foam core. Was wondering what you input is on the coring and what type you would choose.

Going to be using 2 layers of 1708 with vinylester resin. The only things that would be going thru-hull would be the bilge and fuel vent well above the water line.

Here is two options for foam core Armacell http://www.armacell.com/www/armacell...7?OpenDocument

And the other is Airlit by Baltek http://www.mertons.com/Floatation/scored_foam.html

What would you choose if it were your boat and why
Randy
