Do you guys know of a source for for a good wiring diagram for a basic one motor/two battery set up?

Go to the PERKO web site. Has diagrams for any comniation of batteries and engines.

I can offer the one I did for my boat. I designed this one up and installed it on my SF20. Has worked great for a year now.

Click on the image for a larger more readable size. Can't promise it will work 100% for you but probably a good start.

Thanks a ton, that is super helpful. I see you used a fuse block instead of a breaker panel. What made you go that way? I have been wondering which way to go.

Seems like with a fuse block or fused switch panel you can get a better match for amps than with a breaker setup.

Yeah that's why I went that way, each item can be fused to its proper amperage, was cheaper as well. I keep a small tackle box on board with at least (2) replacement fuses for each size fuse on the boat (blade and tube). Knock on wood but haven't blown one yet.
