20sf prop recommendation
Hi all, I have to prop my 20sf and need some recommendations. I bought the boat with a blown 115 1986 Suzuki and have since re powered with a 1996 Yamaha pro v 150 with no prop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

A good starting point would be a factory Yamaha 19" prop. They're some kind of semi cleaver with good stern lift. Then, if you need to, you can have it re-pitched up or down ... probably down if anything.

never swing a 19 a 17 something

That motor has a 2:1 lower unit and will swing a 19. 5500 rpm, 19", 15% slip gives you 42 mph.

forgot about the 2:1 mine has a 1.87

Oooops. MQS 4 15p. Just rebuilt her carbs. I love my slacker. New bowls with the big kit which I should have done the first time... The old style alum. 3 deuces are far better than the Minlons. Anyone know if you can retrofit the old style on that reed plate? Plastic carbs cause pause. Fingertip pause please. Look at the coarse threads.
Not for the ham handed. Mmm ham. My pig has never sounded better. Wheee! Ok Clifford you`re home. Cheers, Dead Lobstah. Hmm. |
