how to repair lower/upper hull junction{cap}

1 Attachment(s)
I started taking a part my 77 20' seacraft-removed the bumper strip and found a lot of drilled holes and the upper(cap) and lower hull separated, looks like someone caulked this before
Can anyone tell me what fill to use for these holes and what caulk to seal this joint?
Thanks Jon

Had this to deal with back in the day. Used Marinetech 2 part material since the bond has to stay secure but didn't need to be cosmetic. Seemed like a good solution.

Mine had a ton of holes! I pulled the cap off and putty all the holes then glassed over them

Epoxy and cabosil to fill holes then 5200 between hull and cap. Thru bolt instead of screws or rivets

Or Sikaflex for the glue. Takeapartable is nice.

Do you bolt a motah together or weld it?

Yeah, I`m a bit twisted.
