More often than not, you don't have to put alum. on a good transom ? and being in the salvage bussines if the boat rolled or sank you might be looking at weld probs in the fuel cell, corrosion on the...

Currently redecking a 20' 73 and noticed that everything under the deck is foam, not just the stringers, every open space under the deck. It didn't help with the removal of the rotted fuel cell but...

mine came with a 35 gal. alum. tank, that got replaced with a 75 gal poly tank at marine liquidators in FT. Pierce Fl, at around $2.25 a gal. You can put a bigger tank in, but it will not leave much...
