More often than not, you don't have to put alum. on a good transom ? and being in the salvage bussines if the boat rolled or sank you might be looking at weld probs in the fuel cell, corrosion on the...

mine came with a 35 gal. alum. tank, that got replaced with a 75 gal poly tank at marine liquidators in FT. Pierce Fl, at around $2.25 a gal. You can put a bigger tank in, but it will not leave much...

I am currently putting a new transom in my 73" 20'. Does anyone know what the minimum cutout width can be to accomodate a 200hp optimax. I am tring to cut out as little as possible to accomodate twin...
