Trim Tab ??

Has anyone seen this type of trim tab with the extension part. seems like over kill
to me. I would like to cut that part off so I can install a boarding step/ladder.

Thanks for the reply. How was it pulling in the new hose? Did you use a coupling
and pull it through? Out with the old in with the new. I'm thinking it didn't quite
go like that.

I can see the cracks on the inside also. I going to try a 2ft. hose attached to a funnel. Putting it inside the fill hose and the next time I add gas see if I still get fuel in the bilge.

Found the fuel leak at least one of them. The hose is all dry rotted,cracked at the fill neck where it bends to head towards the tank. I saw this just by looking down the fill. Then took a picture...

That's comforting. I'm thinking it might be the hose. Only because if it was the tank I would think it would be still leaking in the bilge. Wishful thinking!! I'm going to pull the fill neck flange...

Right now nothing is connected. Honestly I would rather use it for dry storage. But I see what you mean. Just washing it down it had water in it. Especially the channel around the cover.
