18' Fuel Tank Compartment
And a quick question - is there a way that fuel or water can get from the tank compartment to the bilge? I want to get leaked fuel out of there.

I also have an 18 and have though about this often. If you do it, please let us know how it turns out. Seems like moving 400 lbs 8" to the rear could make the boat into a lowrider at the stern.

You may be able to narrow down the problem area using an infrared thermometer. They have a cool laser so you can pinpoint the exact spot where the reading is taken.
