Had a crack appear on the strake under the fuel...

Had a crack appear on the strake under the fuel tank bed which we couldn't see when we did the floor the first time as the tank bed was in good shape.
Only way to fix was to take the floor and tank...

Here you go. This was the first go round. Had a little issue with the stringers under the tank bed so we tore the whole floor back out and reclassify all the stringers to the hull. Good to go now....

I totally agree. I see lots of boat manufacturers put the access plate in the splash well.
It's a pain in the butt working on a bilge pump with one hand. I am pretty good now a putting on wire ties...

The only real way to fix the problem is to raise the floor.
These older Seacrafts were built back in the 2 stoke days and even then they were marginal about self bailing.

Forward gas tank 23 Seacraft

I have the forward gas tank from a 23 Seacraft for sale.
Excellent condition.
I calculate it to be around 40 gallons.
Probably work good in a 20.
