There are two brand new AGM batteries which were installed in September 07, along with a new battery switch and combiner. The Racor fuel filter is also new.

Ok, here are some more pictures. As you can see the leaning post is in pretty good condition, all I did was re-varnish the rod holder section and clean up the aluminum and vinyl.

Original console completely redone, just waiting for instruments and accessories. Brand new binnacle controls and Hynautics Steering Helm installed September 07. Hydraulic steering works perfect.

Quick Update

Been on vacation, but back now and boat is progressing again. Have the bilge painted and new motor in. Found a local guy to do the console and he's filling all the holes so it will be a blank canvas...

Tanks are out now and they don't look too bad. They were epoxied on bottom and sides so may not be originals. I don't know, any chance the factory would have done that on the Savages?

Yep, have already pulled up the hatch and seen the two tanks there. Being aluminum is it not possible to just pressure test and use them if the test ok?

Was planning on 2 bilge...

Thanks everyone, I ordered the C.E. Smith ones, 2 30 deg and 2 15 deg. They are not an exact fit so I'll have to epoxy the old screw holes and drill new ones.
