With the F250 I average 2.4 mpg on an offshore trip so more range than I'll need! Longest trip I've done was 235 miles dock to dock and we burned 95 gal or so.

Not sure what the Suzuki or E-Tec would run you, but I know a new Yamaha F300 installed with the new electronic controls ran someone around $27k... and that's if you can find one.

The F300 is lighter than the previous generation F250s with 50 more horsepower. That's what I'd be looking at, if you can find one.

Yeah you have to watch out for those sea turtles! A couple trips back I had to swerve around at least four of them on the way in.

I had a floscan on my SeaCraft and it was great, accurate down to the tenth of a gallon.

I just installed a NMEA 2000 system on my Regulator so my yamaha interfaces directly with my garmin...
