I have one of those jack plates. They do work ,but they move weight aft which throws the balance off slightly. As FR. Frank said water can and will still spill over the transom. I have taht problem...

as far as I know it doesnt if it does how much can a trailer be worth 500n bucks. The boat does have console controls and things like that.

Found a 1974 23 sf on craigslist. It is an original twin i/o boat the engines are shot not drive no electronics and they say that the floor has some soft spots. Other than that in dont know much else...

the external kit is where the hydralic lines dont go thru the transom behind the top mount of the actuator. instead they turn 90 degreesand can go thru the transom where ever you would like.
