Long story but she is for sale again, glad to have been able to run her one more season but new boat arrived and boss says one gotta go. I asked if she was "one". Anyway, 1972 20' CC completely...

I am surprised how solid this particular sceptre hull is. when i re-did my last '72sc 20cc i knew what i was getting into. the hull was solid...

thanks, that's surprising about speed w/ a 225, i figured much quicker. i suppose it makes sense, my 20 got 28kts (not mph) with the 150 yam on her and she's appx 1000 lbs lighter.

i know it's not ideal, but can i get away with a 150 yamaha on a 77 sceptre 23'? what could i expect to get at 4200 rpm? i've met guys with old 23' cc they threw 150's on and they get appx 25 mph...
