The leaning post that came with it was way too high, so I had a local welder shorten it by about 6 inches.
It worked fine for the 5 years I owned...

When we first got our Sceptre about 6 years ago I installed a deck hatch in the foredeck.
That was a gamechanger. Allowed us (i.e. my wife) to work the deck without having to actually go out on it....

I Grip-Tex'd my foredeck (23 Sceptre) a few years ago and have never really been happy with it...

The addition of a dangling block of foam would make it foolproof though.

I've seen batteries happily charging away at 13 volts and holding 12+ when disconnected, then give them a load test...

The ACR wont auto-connect the second battery to the main battery if the second battery is below a certain voltage. Hence no charge to second battery. I think its less than 11 or 10? Cant remember....

I installed one on a customers Jones Brother 23 last winter.
He's a charter fly fisherman here on Cape Cod and he went for the transom mount.
He was kind of on the fence after using it for awhile....
