The engine is a Yamaha Saltwater Series 150. I believe from the code it is a model year 1999. See images for the code. More pictures are attached.

Pretty comfortable with handheld VHF. Off shore runs here on the right days are 12 to 14 miles out and there are plenty of boats around...

Had this to deal with back in the day. Used Marinetech 2 part material since the bond has to stay secure but didn't need to be cosmetic. Seemed like a good solution.
