I'm not sure it will work, but you can try fontseek.com. It may help.

Re: Review of Color Chart Plotter

Capt Chuck, I sent in my comments on the RC435 as well. Pretty happy with mine. What was your opinion?

Re: A SeaCraft in Fresh Water?

You got a good fresh/salt water note from Capt. Brad. I can tell you that the shallow water with (long fetch and winds from the same direction for awhile) makes a big difference. On the Chesapeake...

Re: Any VA boys know this boat?

Strider, the only thing I can tell you is that I don't think he's from the area around the mouth of the Rappahannock (Windmill Pt, Deltaville, etc.) Any luck figuring it out?

Re: Performance: 23 with a 250

Zup, I have a new (to me) 78 with a 250 EFI on a bracket. Haven't really had time to wring it out yet due to the weather - being from VA too you know what I mean. It has the original stainless prop...

Re: Plotter or what?

I'm a big Garmin fan, but I've got a Raymarine 435 and like it a lot. Features are similar to the Garmin 182, but for my money it has a faster redraw time and better color. The track feature is not...

Re: Howd ya do it

I see what you mean. It does look sweet. I'll have to give it some thought myself. Thanks for the idea.

Re: Howd ya do it

Maybe this is covered somewhere on the site, but since you guys are talking about it now, what made you decide to fill in the vents?

Re: Another Outrigger Question

Interesting topic. Has anyone seen or tried the new T-Top mounted riggers that crank out (gear controlled) from below? Not sure, but seem to recall they were made by Rupp?

Re: 250 Merc Optimax

I have a 96 250 EFI with 375 hours on a bracket on a 23cc. It runs about 33mph, 16 gph @ about 4400 rpm. The clunk is definitely there and the idle is a little rough, but no problems.

Re: Tow Vehicle for a Seacraft 23CC

I have a 23 and use a Chevy 1500 with 4 wheel drive. You're right in that its not needed at all to tow, esp with the tow/haul shift pattern. I would recommend it for the ramp though. At low tide...

Re: Isabel

Just went through this one. The marina where my boat would have been was totally trashed. Storm surge did more damage than the winds, as usual. Nothing like a good trailer.

Re: 1973 & 1979 brouchers

I'm all for the "lie" approach. Since you mention the 79 but not 78 outboard 23 CC, do you have any idea how much difference there was?

Re: CSY 23's

Thanks Trayder. Anything you figure out would be appreciated. The timeline (good info) shows CSY the whole period but as you point out, there's usually more to the story than meets the eye.

Re: CSY 23's

Good info. Mark/Jason, anything to add? Seems as if quality was maintained. Maybe that's why they had little or no profit, but I don't have much of a sample size so far.
