Default Isabel

Hope all you east coasters are making preps to keep family and seacrafts safe.If it stays a 4 or even a high 3 my butt and family are heading west. The weather channel was saying possibly up to 40 ft seas arriving with the storm and as close as I am to the ocean me and my family will be heading west. I have a pretty good ,isolated cove to keep my boat on a lift but if we have a big storm surge then who knows. To all my friends at the beach and surrounding areas lets keep our fingers crossed as we look to be the target right now.The current track has the eye almost directly over my living room !! Good luck everyone and stay safe !! craig

I hear you well, living in South Florida the anxiety level goes up this time of year. I have been tracking this one 2 to 4 times a day looks like we are off the hook now but Andrew was unbelievable when the winds go over 120 mph things start really falling apart. I am in the insurance business and I talked to a State Farm friend of mine Friday he said that this one could be a career changing event down here and if it hit us as a category #5 it probably would be. I hope it stays out to sea but if it starts heading your way stay safe and then pick up the pieces later.

As a Member of the Andrew Club,All I can say is Pack Your S*** & Head WEST !!Way west as She will penetrate pretty deep !None of Us are out Yet as the High has not Floundered enough to keep anyone safe. The Low is a weak one.I've done 25+'rs(Sea) in the Gulf & let Me told Ya' sumpt'n.It's a long way down !(Evacuation team in the Gulf ,Fire & Hurricane)If Ya can't trailer Your Vessel and a "4-5" comes thru well ?
Let the air outta Your tires, fill the hull with water and batten Her down.LEAVE! No dwelling is SAfe,All the pics Ya see on the Tube holds No sanity to Your Families Minds way after experiancing that magnitude of STORM.

We've got no place to hide here.
I'm pulling boats as we speak (as if it will help).

David/Andrew/Hugo/Floyd...everywhere I go these damn things keep following me. This will be my fifth or sixth hurricane...my advice pack your a$$ up and move inland. House/boat/car can be replaced..you can't. I'm goping to get my boat off the Chesapeake tomorrow. Rather have it floating next to my house than scrambled with 100 other boats at the marina
