I have spring locks and want to change to gas filled. LMK what you find out. I'm sure West Marine can help. SS for sure not automotive crap unless you want to replace every other year.

I’ve got a Mattison’s bracket. Had twin 115 25” Suzuki’s. Went to a 30” 300 Suzuki.
Both sets of motors performed best with motor mounted high.


My 115’s cruised at 25kts 2.6mpg regular family...

350 Should not be too heavy. My twin 115's topped at 45mph. Weight was over 840.
300 Suzi raised my waterline an inch or more. 52 or so mph.

350 should hit 55-58 with a clean bottom.
