Re: Hydraulic Steering on 20SF

I did some measuring years ago. I am pretty sure you will have an interference issue when engine is fully tilted and the whole power steering assembly drops deeper into the narrowing Well. That's...

Has anyone found a Power steering configuration that works with a bone stock Transom area on an early Center Console?
The Engine Well with the bait wells on both sides doesn't give enough room for...

Asking for my brothers '73 Safari with the 140HP I/O.

Re: New 20 Open Fisherman

The Decal Secraft logo confuses me. My '70 had the Metal 'screwed on' Emblem.

The salt has beat it up and is no longer on the boat. It's on a shelf at home. It would be cool if someone would...

Did Seacraft sell the Hull again?

Drove past a boat dealer and hung a 'U' when I recognized the Seacraft Hull. Walked around the side to find it said Palm Beach on it.

Re: Boston indoor storage- anyone interested?

I love the SeaBirds. There's a cuddy version on the side of this guys house by me (Long Island) and he's done nothing with it for years. It's killing me.

Re: Very early Seacraft Logo

That's what I was thinking. Hydro cutter.
It would miss the detail in the lower section. The Small waves and the "Miami Florida" but it would seoarate my boat from all those 'New', mid 70 SC's ...

Very early Seacraft Logo

I have the original 'Metal' logos from my Seacraft. They are very pitted and cracked right at the mounting holes.I am missing the 'T' on the end of one of them too.

Were these logos original Cast...

The color, well, I played Chemist with Black and White until it looked 'right'. It ended up being very close to 2 parts white to 1 part black.

I put the...

Re: Your second favorite boat under 28'

Without any question it would be a 1967 20' Bertram BMR or Moppy.

That boat is incredible.
Rocks like crazy at a standstill but after seeing more Airtime then a motorcross bike, that baby re...

Just found this site. HELLO

Long Time SeaCraft owner. When I was a kid, the family boat was a '69 Safari 20. I found a 20' SF on a beach back in '83. It wasn't too pretty but it was a Seacraft. Lot's of elbow grease and,...

Re: Your Opinions Please...

Can't speak of the new motors but Back in '87 I put a 175 Yammy on my 1970 20' CC. It can top out at 52 MPH if and that's a big if the water is calm enough. At 50+mph it gets very light when the...
