I like Ben's opinion.....

We (the family) have had all three ... alot of each type....and Personally I/O not for me thank you!! we had many issues with those sterndrives (I havent been in an I/O for quite some time so maybe things have changed for the better... I'm sure they have)
As mentioned.. leaking problems, maintenance, nice areas for water to get in and do a number on that wood transom....

Inboards are great very reliable and easy to work on....little tricky with a single backing down until you get the angles down...Twin screw.......Nothing simpler to run....use to run a 28 and 38 Bertram and occasionally a 45 Viking ... awesome control [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] !!! but we cant have that in these boats....

Outboards....we'll they speak for themselves as most of us have them on the site....Two better than one ...for obvious reasons... [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
