Default Re: Refit of a 1970 20cc, my first one

Answer to McGillicuddy and realclassic20sf. Deck drain nonskid is similiar to the drawing on the right, soft curves, no hard angles, I sanded all the original pattern off. It moves along, I haven't installed the GPS yet, so I don't know top end, hole punch is impressive, had an overheat at high RPM, I'm cleaning the heads and such, only got 5100 out of it swinging a 19" wheel, this w/e going to put it back in, see if I've solved the o/h issue and figure out why I'm not getting the turns, cav plate is 1/2" above bottom. Any thoughts? Still not possitive I'm getting full throttle throw. First time I've run that engine, trying to get out the bug's out, itsa 1999 OX66. Once I figure out the o/h, I'll chase the rpm issue and do a gps run. this site has been a HUGE help in my refit, looking forward to the changes on the nexy one!!
