where do you buy polyglow?
Try here, George:

Poli Glow

I'm sold on this stuff after seeing Bushwacker's Seafari. One kit will do your 25 and your 20. Wet sand with 800 or 1000 grit until you get through the oxidation. Make sure you remove all stains. If you don't, Poli Glow will just coat them and make them shiny stains. If you can't find 800-1000 at your home improvement store, try the auto parts store by the touch-up paints.

GodsReel,
It's made for gelcoat, but I don't know why it wouldn't work over paint. It's an acrylic emulsion that leaves a thin film with each pass of the applicator. That's why it takes 5-6 coats. So I wouldn't think it would react with the paint.
