[Miles Offshore]

I have mine placed on the center chine,(inboard), not sure about an outboard.If it is then I think I would install it on the outboard as far as you can on the 2nd chine to get clean water . I think the most critical part is getting the angle and yaw correct so that you get the least amount of disturbed water running over it. Its nice being able to read the bottom when going at high speed instead of having to slow down to pick up the bottom.
