I purchsed the 2 bilge pumps and I have a question on how fix them to the bottom.
It looks like they have places for screwing them down but do I first have to glass in a piece of wood to the bottom? or would a amble amount of 5200 get the job done? best way suggestions please!!! I also purchased some other goodies !! |

Personally I feel better knowing it's screwed down and not going to move but I have heard of guys using the 5200.

Jorge,
Mine came from the factory with a big Rule pump strapped to the center stringer with an aluminum U-shaped bracket with a strip of rubber glued to inside of bracket. It was located on stbd side all the way aft against transom. Still mounted the same way 40 years later!
