Hey guys........I want to change the boat hull color( from the rub rail to the boot stripe ) on a 18ft SF and am looking for info on the best product to use. Roll and tip is what I am thinking but what should I use . Alwgrip sounds tricky but????????????

I had very good results rolling and tipping Sterling paint.
You need to be very careful that the paint has time to cure before it gets any dew on it so don't paint late in the day.Bugs were a bit of a problem with the slower cure than spraying but we finally got it covered and were very happy with the finish. |

I used Sterling pain as well and used the roll and tip method worked great for me as well.

Just a FYI: A know a guy that is very disapointed in Siginature Finsh doing roll & tip.
Coverage was lousy, having to sand between coat's and ton's of orange peel. |

Spraying AwlGrip is tricky.
