I used marine ply redoing my 23 .one thought would be to make a pattern then use malmine board or I think strick uses mdm to make a mold .there is a plasic molding that plasterers use for around edges thats about 3/4 inch tall and has a bunch of holes on the othere side(90degree angle) you can screw it t the board cutting the on side to flex it where needed. I USED IT TO MAKE ALL MY HATCHES. wish I had made the floor that way it would hae saved a ton of $$$$ in sand paper and time.you can grind the edge where you would need to tie it together and glass sections together

Man deja vue.. I just otrdered 1 inch nidacor for my floor .. It is about the same in price as mrine ply but ther is not rot to nida core.. I plan on using this boat till i die.. Ther are more things to consider with nida cause you cannot just fasten anything to the laminate. You need to plan a bit more as to where your are goingt o afix parts to the deck...

nida core is made from recylcled milk jugs penske board, coosa, divinycell - these are a much better choice - stronger, more dense that nida core...much lighter, and rot resistant, unlike plywood...
