what type of floor matieral??

Man deja vue.. I just otrdered 1 inch nidacor for my floor .. It is about the same in price as mrine ply but ther is not rot to nida core.. I plan on using this boat till i die.. Ther are more things to consider with nida cause you cannot just fasten anything to the laminate. You need to plan a bit more as to where your are goingt o afix parts to the deck...

nida core - like any other composite will not hold a screw - no composite has that ability

nida core is made from recylcled milk jugs

penske board,coosa,divinycell - these are a much better choice - stronger,more dense that nida core...much lighter,and rot resistant,unlike plywood...

i got ab for my transom, and was thinking it was a little heavy for the entire floor. is penske lighter?? i was recomended penske for the transom but could not find it up here. Have a friend who can get it in south fla tho.

I find penske 20 3/4 inch to be perfect for floors.

I understnad but if you cor the miss where you are going to fasten harwares then it will work fine pclus a. Fraction of what corecell and penske goes.for
