Hey, just out of curiosity which taco rubrail/insert did you select for the 18?
Have a model number or any other pertinent info?

Giving my 18SF a paint job next winter and replacing the "recycled rubber tire" rub-rail from 1975 is definitely on the docket.

I'd be interested in the same info.

Wow! Great job! She’s is beautiful! You are going to love her - I live in Harwich been fishing Seacrafts for 25 years - hard to find a better boat for both sides of the Cape! Congrats!

Looks outstanding! Really nice job. I think you might have convinced me to keep my boat White when I redo it. That's Snow White looks stunning on these boats. Enjoy it!

Thank you. I chose white because it doesn’t shown scratches as easily as colored boats do. I plan on having the 100 coats of bottom paint beaded of this spring and barrier coated. That should clean her up a bit. As well as adding radar and some new deck lights. I’m hoping to ad a new Evinrude G2 to the mix next year if all goes well. Almost time to cut the wrapper off but winter is still with us in New England.

Default Etec 300

Can’t wait to mount this new gem. Also came with an Atlas Electeic jackplate. I don’t know about adding the jackplate but with the Yamaha 225 and 4 blade prop I was almost happy with it so we will see. It’s going to be a long New England winter before some test hours are put on it. Low hour 2009 Etec 300!!
It came with a 21P prop. I guess a good starting point but I will either go with a Rev4 or OSF4 Powertech.

On my 23 CC I run a 17P OFS4 when in the Keys and a Rebel 18P when home in Nantucket Sound. Both get me to 6000 RPM and right at 50 mph. The OFS4 does me better in open ocean and the Rebel is better in short chop. No bracket - transom mount.

Nice selection for power, those Gen1 eTecs are bad to the bone!! Don't get me wrong the Yamaha two smokers are great engines, but just wait until that eTec 300 kicks in!!

Hey TJS, just to let you know this is the photo section.....we're expecting some photos soon!!! Winter or no Winter!! Sorry it's already Winter by five days and I played golf today in 76 degree weather, too bad about your weather.
