Anyone have an opinion or knowledge on a 98 115 Tohatsu? I am told the "compression is good in all cylinders." Don't the commercial guys use these a a lot?
HeyHey, if I'm correct I believe Tohatsu is Nissan and was or is the biggest outboard maker in the world, worked on a couple back in the day but nothing major...or were they the 2 strokes(little fuzzy through the years...lol)...allegedly they are quality, when West Marine made it's big surge in the nineties that was the motor they sold I believe....I will say it is one of those motors season after season you see hanging off the back of some old commercial guys sled like an old v-4 OMC, or 140 Suzuki....good luck
