Capt Chuck. That is a great idea and it looks great too.

Only problem w/ my application is that I do not have a lip to glass under. My 'hole in the floor' has smooth sides that do not lend itself to your fix.

I think I am stuck w/ having to try to seal the hatch well when closed.
