Maine,
I have an 87' 23 that had been sunk by previous owner when dead batteries led to bilge pump failure. The boat was and still is totally sound, and was aquired for 4000 Dollars 5 years ago. Don't really know how our prices here in Va. stack up with yours, but hopefully it'll give you a direct comparision to go by.
