Default Friend of Finster's & Don Battin

On Saturday I was playing with my new boat by the ramp at Barnegat Light. This old timer pulled up and started hitting me with tons of questions about the boat.

His name is Alan Thomas. He said that he is a member here and knows both Chris and Don. Back in the day Alan says that he sold more Potter built SeaCrafts than anyon else in Southern NJ. He stopped being a distributor when Johnny Morris drove SeaCraft into the ground.

Nice guy (Alan not Johnny). I tried showing him the twin 200 Yamahas on the bracket. He did not care one iota. He was all about the boat, particularly the closed transom and deck.
