Default Yet another awlgrip question

Im about to awlgrip my topsides: gunwhales, cockpit walls, floor etc. The prior owner painted with one part paint - I think. So that means I need to sand it real good, fill and fair damage, then use the 545 primer.

Anyone have any tips as far as timing, reducing, cleaning, sanding procedures. I will be rolling and tipping. I did a 13 Whaler recently and got good results but I want to take extra care with the Seacraft.

Offwhite inside and gunwhales, cream decks, royal blue hull will be last. I know I need the weather to break and heaters, good respirator, etc.
