John - Last I heard . . . Bill Potter was working with Bruce Brown Films to restore the original film. http://www.brucebrownfilms.com/ I've seen a video copy of the film that Trayder had and it's some amazing footage . . . especially when you consider that it was 1973/1974. There is a short clip where the waves are HUGE and cresting. To think Bruce Brown and the film crew ran 800 miles in those condition over a 5 day period is unbelievable.
