Are you able to hear the thunder from your house or is it too far away?

When the shuttle takes off the whole house and barn rattle... then you here boom, boom, boom... for 5 minutes!
The 12 X 12 roll up doors on the barn were shakeing like a
hurricane was upon us...
It is an awesome sight. Area 442 is just a mere 18 miles
the way the crow flies to the launch pad...

I have a few friends that have been at the KSC with the shuttle program since the beginning and are about to join
the unemployment list!!!

What a government we have now huh?
