Back to the original question. If painting camo. Why use a clear coat? You want flat

paint finish. not a clear coat finish if this is for duck hunting? I redid two duck boats last winter for a friend and sprayed a one part pettit I believe camo type paint over a fiberglass sneak box finish. No clear coat. Nothing shiny wanted.
