Default New Member/Owner with a "Barn-Find"

I found this hull last week and I could not help but see a terrific looking boat wanting to emerge.

I personally do not have any history with these boats and need some help in identifying the year range. The Hull ID# was glassed over by a prior owner in a gunnel cap project. The title says 1978, but it also said Searay instead of SeaCraft (I got that fixed at the tag office yesterday).

There are some interior design features that I have not seen on any of the other 1978 pictures that are posted on the interweb. The front deck storage configuration is a different size and design than others I have seen. Also the port and starboard interior bow have these storage shelves with small teak trim piece that seem unique. The aft utility boxes also seem different from other SeaCrafts. The boat measures 20'6" at the centerline.

I am about to start the restoration process this month. She is gonna get a new transom, fuel tank, console, four stroke motor, electrical, Leaning Post, T-Top, and paint inside and out.

I am looking forward to hearing from the SeaCraft enthusiast on this forum any insight they may have about this boat.
