My brother, a psycho-path, got the hose on in heatwave conditions today - with the heat gun and a lot of blood, sweat! and tears. He had to additionally dismantle an access door frame, inverter, batteries etc to get an inch or two additional reach - that, and the heat gun ( great idea - thx ).

Incredibly STOOPID! installation with no thought of maintenance. EZ to see how the mech who winterized the boat did not do this properly - to bleed the plastic water filter housing you have to be a contortionist.
