You probably will not need to do anything with the stringers they usually are in good shape. As for a keel brace that could be a good idea to help support a bracket giving you some added support. Your transom is the real project here as for a cost to have someone else do the work there are a number of guys up in the N.J. and N.Y. area that I am sure will point you to a glass man to do the work for you, but you might want to do it yourself and save the $ this job is more sweat and beer than high technology and the $ you save will pay for the bracket + a lot of other stuff. Think about it.
