Holy cow! I can't believe someone could actually land a 9ft Mako from the beach. Damn...I am jealous.
There is a guy in San Diego who paddles a mile or two out on his longboard and routinely catches sharks while sitting on the board. I think he mostly catches Thresher sharks.. -Ed- Ps - if you ever swam in the waters off Nantucket or the Vineyard...I am sure a shark or two have been very close without you even knowing [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]
